Chinese New Year is the biggest and most joyous holiday in the Chinese calendar. This is the year of the Horse, signifying people who are high-spirited, charming and fun to be with. Colour is important in New Year dishes, especially red, the colour of money. Noodles, a symbol of a long life, are always served. This fun menu was suggested to me by food stylist Jan Poon.
