3/4 oz gin

3/4 oz green Chartreuse

3/4 oz maraschino liqueur

3/4 oz fresh lime juice

Fill a cocktail glass with ice to chill.

Add gin, green Chartreuse, maraschino liqueur and lime juice to a cocktail shaker.

Cap the shaker tightly. Holding each end of the shaker tightly, shake vigorously.

Discard the ice chilling the glass. Strain the cocktail through an additional fine strainer. This technique is known as double straining, which is recommended for shaken drinks with citrus juices. Double strain the cocktail to clarify the cocktail from the citrus pulp and any broken ice pieces.
