Buy large wings, otherwise they burn, blacken and end up dry.

Servings: 4

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic

2 tablespoon barbecue sauce, store-bought or homemade

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 pounds chicken wings, split into two

Combine mustard, soy, garlic and barbecue sauce. Stir in oil. Spread over wings and marinate for 30 minutes.

Heat grill to medium-low and turn off one of the barbecue elements.

Place wings on the side that is turned off and grill slowly, about 15 minutes a side, or until crispy and juices are clear.
