This smoothie is packed with flavonoids thanks to the orange juice and berries. Fresh ginger gives it a refreshing and delicious taste – my taste-testers couldn't seem to get enough of it!

Servings: 2

1 cup 100 per cent orange juice

1 cup low-fat (1 per cent MF or less) milk or plain soy milk

1 tsp grated or minced ginger root

1 cup mixed berries, such as strawberries, blueberries or raspberries, fresh or frozen

In a blender, combine orange juice, milk, ginger root and berries. Purée until smooth. Serve cold.
