Calgary's award winning mixologist Brent De Boer's latest culinary-inspired creation is the Juniper Fleur, which combines blueberries and grapes in a gin base.

Ingredients

1 ounce Bombay Sapphire Gin

1 ounce St. Germain Lychee Liqueur

A squeeze of lime juice

A dash of bitters

Method

First, place a teaspoon of raw sugar, one egg white and six red seedless grapes into a shaker tin, muddle and then dry shake for 15 seconds to make grape meringue. Next, in the same tin, combine the remaining ingredients with ice and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds. Strain, finally, into a martini glass.
