On a recent trip to Whistler, B.C., I had dinner at the spectacular Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre. The café features modernized versions of traditional first nations food. I fell in love with bannock, the aboriginal flatbread, which is basically a fried bread. Once you've eaten one you can't stop.
