wine review

This comes in an attractively distinctive, bowling-pin-shaped bottle and sports a light and pretty, peachy-pink hue. We’re in the Languedoc here, not nearby Provence, but there’s a strong stylistic similarity between this wine and the classic, celebrated rosés of Provence. Light-medium-bodied and pleasantly fleshy, it reveals notes of pear, apple and lemon rind and displays a nervy, slightly bitter backbone. Available in Ontario.
