wine review

A big-value red, particularly if you're fond of Argentine malbec. Full-bodied and well-structured. Ripe fruit is joined by subtle and fresh savoury notes along with a whiff of smoke, supported by fine, integrated tannins and bright acidity. It tastes as though a bundle of herbs and pine needles had fallen into a jar of berry jam, with an aroma of charred wood wafting in from the distance. Available in Ontario at the above price, $18.99 in British Columbia, $19.99 in Saskatchewan, $17.80 in Quebec, $17.99 in Nova Scotia.
