A blend of mostly grenache with syrah and mourvèdre, it's dense and juicy, offering intense cherry jam and peppery spice, with a nuance of roasted meat on the finish. Drinkable now, it should cellar well for a decade. Suitable for rich red-meat dishes, especially stews and roast game.
