Wine review: Hess Allomi Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2011, California

Napa Valley
Cabernet sauvignon

A dark-chocolate bar studded with dried cherries. This is smooth, full-bodied and concentrated red, with solid tannic backbone for structure and bright acid verve. Well done.
