wine review

A sparkling white produced using the charmat technique, this is likely to draw comparisons with prosecco rather than Champagne. But it's more interesting than the average Italian prosecco, with a prominent floral-herbal character calling to mind lemon, green tea and elderflowers. It's an offbeat blend of muscat ottonel, chardonnay musqué, riesling and gewürztraminer that comes with an inspired blue-and-tan label recalling a night-sky scene in the 1902 fantasy film A Trip to the Moon – playful packaging.
