Build better posture by working your rotator-cuff muscles

Want to build better posture? Then you should work your rotator-cuff muscles, all from the comfort of your couch

1 of 2

Lie on your side on the couch and put a pillow under your head, so that your neck is in line with your spine. Hold a light object in your top hand – a small book will work – and bend that arm at 90 degrees to your elbow.

2 of 2

Use your elbow as a pivot as you push your arm as far back as it will go, then bring it slowly down across your body. Repeat 15 times, then switch arms and repeat.
