Do the photocopy toe-tap to improve your balance

Don't waste the seconds you spend waiting on the photocopier or microwave. Instead, improve your balance and strengthen the stabilizer muscles in your knees and hips

Start by standing on your left leg and tap your right foot in front of you.

Then tap your right foot out to your right.

Then finish by tapping your foot behind you. Repeat five times without resting before switching sides. Too easy? Try squatting slightly on your supporting leg and tapping your other foot farther away from your body.
