Mr. Stanton is the founder of the Running Room chain of stores. He is also an active member of many community organizations, including vice-president of the Commonwealth Games Association of Canada and the ambassador for fitness and wellness for Capital Health in Alberta. He has completed over 60 marathons, the Ironman World Championship and a multitude of races. Mr. Stanton is the author of four books on running and one on walking.
