Want a totally inconspicuous way to work your lower body while sitting at your desk? Try doing quad-hamstring-glute squeezes. While sitting at your desk, simply engage your quads (front of thighs), hamstrings (back of thighs) and glutes (bum). Squeeze and release 25 times.

You can make the exercise more interesting – but less stealthy – by placing a small squishy ball (or pillow, if you work from home) in between your knees. As you do the exercise, squeeze the object. This will help you work your inner thighs and your VMO, the muscle found on the inner portion of the thigh beside the knee.
