When stroke patients return home from hospital, the job of helping them cope with their disabilities usually falls upon family members. It can be an overwhelming responsibility.

To assist caregivers, Stroke Recovery Canada has produced a booklet on a wide range of relevant topics, from physiotherapy to re-establishing intimate sexual relationships.

The booklet, called A Caregiver's Guide to Stroke Recovery, can be downloaded from the website strokerecoverycanada.com. It is also being distributed in stroke rehabilitation centres across Canada.

Stroke Recovery Canada is a program of March of Dimes Canada, a registered charity that provides rehabilitation services and resources to people with physical disabilities.
