IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

According to the planets you are on the cusp of a new era in your life, one in which the choices you make will bring almost immediate results. For that reason alone you must make sure they are good choices. Act only on what your inner voice tells you.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Listen carefully to what friends and family members tell you over the next few days, even when it is the opposite of what you want to hear. Their advice could be exactly what you need to get moving again after a period of relative inactivity.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The tougher the test the more you will like it this week. The upcoming solar eclipse will bring challenges that can easily be turned into opportunities, especially on the work front. Be bold and believe that you have what it takes to be a star.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You are not the sort to say things just so other people can feel good about themselves and anyone who thinks you will change your ways is destined to be disappointed. Be honest about your beliefs, even if they are frowned on politically.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

What you see and what you get are likely to be two different things today, so don't expect too much either of yourself or other people. The approaching eclipse though will encourage you to be more realistic about money. Live within your means.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

A little bit of humour will go a long way over the next few days, especially when dealing with people whose views are so negative. Don't get angry with them, just laugh at them while making it look as if you are laughing with them.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Virgo is one of the most industrious signs of the zodiac and what happens over the next few days will challenge you to push yourself harder than ever before. Take your very best idea and work on it until it becomes your masterpiece.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

What happens in your life over the next few days will more than make up for recent disappointments. Thursday's solar eclipse in the sympathetic sign of Aquarius will boost your confidence, which in turn will attract a number of exciting opportunities.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you have done something wrong you are advised to admit it over the next 24 hours. At this moment in time it's highly unlikely you will be punished for your transgression but later in the week others may not be quite so forgiving.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Because the approaching eclipse takes place in one of the most outgoing areas of your chart your priority over the next few days must be to have as much fun as possible. Don't look back later in the year and wish you had been more sociable.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The urge to splash the cash may seem irresistible but resist it you must. Cosmic activity in the money area of your chart warns that if you spend too much now you may not be able to make up for your financial extravagance later on.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Make the most of the next few days. Both Wednesday's sun-Uranus link and Thursday's eclipse in your sign suggest that almost anything you begin now will be a success, but you need to get started soon. Don't wait for the perfect day – act now!

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You have an unerring ability to see through the lies that other people tell to deceive themselves. But what about self-deceit? Can you see when you are making things up just to make yourself feel good? You must be brutally honest with yourself today.
