Being the most normal, most successful and arguably most attractive of the Baldwin brothers it’s kind of surprising it took so long for Alec to marry (for the second time). I guess that says more about Stephen, Daniel and Billy.

Can you believe that this was Ryan Reynolds’ third engagement? Yup. First was Alanis Morisette back in 2004 (though the Canadian mega-couple never married). Then there was Scarlett Johansson in 2008. And then Ms. Blake Lively, whom he started dating while they shot Green Lantern together. Sure puts Blake’s no-previous-engagements to shame. Reynolds and Lively tied the knot in September.

The word love will now formally be changed to Chavril in all Canadian dictionaries. Poor Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne received much mocking upon announcing their surprise engagement, but I have to say “Good for you, Avril.” Chad Kroeger is a step-up from Derek Wembley. Right? Maybe more of a step sideways, I guess.
