Al Pacino in Scarface. The Associated Press

Why suffer through stilted dialogue and improbable scenarios when you can enjoy the most memorable action-movie one-liners in one short sitting?

Slate reports on the clever video recently created by montage maven Zach Prewitt that highlights the best movie one-liners from action movies throughout cinema history.

Running nine minutes, the clever montage is presented in no particular order and includes more than a few no-brainer entries, including Clint Eastwood growling, "Go ahead, make my day" from Dirty Harry and Al Pacino barking "Say hello to my little friend" from Scarface.

As should be expected, the lineup includes Arnold Schwarzenegger telling a luckless alligator "You're luggage" in Eraser and Tom Cruise and Anthony Edwards trading high-fives in Top Gun while shouting, "I feel the need … for speed!"

Less familiar entries in the montage include the immortal line "Doughnuts don't wear alligator shoes" from the 2009 action spoof Black Dynamite and Steven Seagal telling a soon-to-die politician "I'm going to take you to the bank, Senator Trent … The blood bank" from the forgettable actioner Hard to Kill.

And to close off on a high note, the montage finishes with Danny Glover's no-nonsense response to a smug crook claiming diplomatic immunity in the 1987 crime drama Lethal Weapon.

"It's just been revoked," says Glover, before pumping a slug into the baddie's forehead.
