Rihanna has never been shy about flaunting her body. But apparently, her mom takes issue with her lack of modesty.

According to Us Weekly , the singer told Elle UK that her mother Monica Fenty gave her an earful after seeing naked images of her that were posted on the photo-sharing site Instagram.

"I'm not afraid of any person in this world but my mother, I'm terrified of her!" Rihanna is quoted as saying. "She called me two days ago and reeled me in about two naked pictures [my friend] Melissa put up on Instagram, a sneak peek from a photo book she's making about me."

Rihanna continued: "She went crazy on me, I was like, embarrassed."

It's curious that even at the age of 25, Rihanna still feels chastened by her mother's scoldings. But perhaps Mom's lecture comes a little too late.

In recent years, the pop star has appeared topless on numerous occasions, including on the cover of GQ magazine, Esquire and in her music videos. And she's also known for sharing racy images of herself on Facebook and Twitter.

As Us Weekly points out, even getting reprimanded by Mom isn't likely to have a lasting effect. Just last week, the singer again shared an Instagram shot of herself in nothing but a pair of underwear, boots and a garter.

What would you do if you found your child was posting risqué photos of herself online?
