Climb in to bed,  Obama fans, and pull up the blankets. Snuggle down, and get ready for a special kind of bedtime story, kiddies.

This isn't your typical nursery rhyme – it's narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, who (unsurprisingly) drops many, many F-bombs – and an adorable, politically-riled little girl. Together, they berate every member of her family into supporting Obama – and defeating the big bad Romney monster.

Jackson and the little girl visit every member of her family, including her TV-watching zombie parents who claim to be 'too tired' to talk politics and her once politically-active-now-lazy college brother. The dynamic, swearing duo try to urge them to, you guessed it, wake the [expletive] up.

The "WTFU" video (you'll have to Google it – be warned, it's NSFW)  has a night-before-Christmas feel, and if the idea of using an F-bomb in a nursery-rhyme style to get a reaction seems familiar, that's because it is.

The script is written by the author of the very popular 'children's book' Go the F to sleep (obviously directed at parents far more than the insomniac child.)

The WTFU viral video – CBC's  George Stroumboulopoulos called it "maybe the best political ad of all time" – has exploded on Facebook and Twitter (because what better way to really get politically active than to hit Like or retweet?).

The video – not endorsed or sponsored by either candidate, but paid for by the Jewish Council for Education and Research – is effective, intelligent and highly entertaining. But I wonder if using a child – a cursing one at that – to garner reaction and social media buzz is the right thing to do?

For the politically idle American voter, we wonder if this will put the fear of Samuel L. Jackson in them. (Imagine, sitting at home on election day, and bam! Samuel L. Jackson appears when you close the fridge door.)

But does an angry little girl yelling at individual family members, dropping F bombs,  fit with the Obama message?
