The Kardashians

This week, three for the price of one: Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, the black-haired trio who are on the cover of Us Weekly every other week and star in a reality show called - what else? - Keeping Up With the Kardashians, are set to design a line for cheesy mall favourite Bebe.

It makes perfect sense that the one-stop shop where sartorially clueless starlets like Britney Spears stock up on velour tracksuits and cheap satin bustiers has sought out the sisters, who fall squarely into the famous-for-nothing-besides-being-rich category.

As for the clothes, given the Kardashians', er, over-the-top wardrobes, we imagine their "designs" won't differ too much from what's already lurking on the skimpy racks. Ladies, just keep away from the marabou trim. Pretty please?

England

Things that make you go ewww: According to a survey by the Lakeside Shopping Center in Essex, England, more than two million Brits have had their jeans for 40 years or more.

We're all for vintage and everything but this seriously stopped us in our tracks. Luckily the survey went on to say that the average pair is just six years old.

More disturbing was the fact that 30 per cent of the women surveyed admitted holding onto "skinny" jeans in hopes of squeezing into them again. Come on, that's what leggings are for!

Twitter nameplates

Is Twitter ubiquitous enough for you yet? If not, there's a new way to flaunt your Web savviness - with bling.

Yes, the nameplate necklace made famous by Carrie Bradshaw on Sex on the City has been refashioned for the Twitter generation by survivalofthehippest.com.

You can choose from necklaces, key chains, anklets, bracelets and pins; each piece is made to order from 925 sterling silver or 10k or 14k gold. The entire collection allows for customization with your favourite Twitter handle or hashtag and you can even add diamonds.

Perfect! We've been looking for a way to let @THE_REAL_SHAQ know how much we love him.
