Trees are silhouetted as the sun sets behind them in Gros Morne National Park.JONATHAN HAYWARD

This May, Parks Canada turns 100. To celebrate, Globe Travel is visiting all 42 national parks and because our unrivalled park system belongs to all of us, we want you to tell your stories, too.

Send us your memories and pictures of Canada's national parks - in the coming months, we'll be featuring favourites in print and online throughout our series.

Have a great story but no photo? Share your memories via the comments (log-in required) or e-mail us.

IMPORTANT - Please note when submitting photos:

  • Which national park the photo was taken in (Not sure if the park you visited is a national or provincial park? Check this list of all 42 national parks.)
  • Date photo was taken (can be approximate).
  • Any other details or the story behind the photo in the caption field.

There are two ways to share photos with The Globe and Mail.

The preferable option is through our Flickr group.

If you're not on Flickr, you can upload an image with our custom tool.
