Secluded luxury in Vietnam

Phan Thiet City, Vietnam - Luxury hotel brand Anantara has opened its first Vietnamese resort in a coastal fishing village about four hours from Ho Chi Minh City. With 89 rooms, a secluded setting on the South China Sea, full-service spa and multiple bars and restaurants, Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa (formerly L'Anmien Beach Resort) is a lavish bolthole that comes complete with a private wine cellar. To get an authentic taste of the local landscape, however, take day trips to the renowned Mui Ne Sand Dunes, to the local port where fishermen peddle the fresh catch of the day, or to take part in a cooking class using ingredients from a nearby plantation. The resort's chef is also available to prepare a romantic dinner for two aboard a traditional Thung fishing boat. mui-ne.anantara.com
