I left my first career to go back to school, to follow my passion and take a leap of faith. In the end that journey took me to a place I always wanted to be, a staff photographer with a newspaper that believes in its people and their vision. Photojournalism has allowed me to travel and to meet people from all walks of life. I've had the privilege of being a witness to their lives even if just for a moment, allowing me to tell their story in photos or more recently with video, in hopes of inspiring or empowering the reader.
