Step 5: Join the Globe’s reader submission group by visiting http://www.flickr.com/groups/globesubmissions/. Once there, click “join this group” and accept the terms and conditions. Regardless of the assignment you're submitting for, you'll add your photo to the general group. Later, a Globe editor manually tags your photo to match the theme and it's added to the gallery.

Step 6: Once logged in, click the upload button and select your photos. You can submit a maximum of three per day. You submit your photos to the general group regardless of the assignment. A Globe editor will approve your submission and add the tags for the appropriate assignment, at which point it will appear on globeandmail.com. Still have questions? Ask us in the comments or visit the Globe's reader submission group and ask in the forums.
