People swim at the start of the annual Lake Zurich crossing swimming event in Zurich. The participants swam across Lake Zurich on a 1,500 metres track. The diagonal lines created by the swimmers makes the composition interesting.

A loggerhead turtle hatchling makes it's way to the surf, as tourists and volunteers look on, at South Litchfield Beach along the coast of South Carolina. The medium depth of field helps keep the focus on the turtle without blurring the people in the background too much. Try experimenting with different apertures to see how depth of field changes your images.

Kuse Aunsi is a unique Hindu festival of Nepal where fathers living or dead are honored. The different colours of light really help the subject to stand out as he's framed between two other people.
