The Torch Parade at Grouse Mountain will take place Saturday, Feb. 11.
Those pesky circadian rhythms are always getting in the way of a good time – but you can defy nature's clock and sate your round-the-clock desire for outdoor adventure at Grouse Mountain's 24 Hours of Winter.
From Saturday morning until Sunday night – including all of the wee hours in between – you can ski, board, snowshoe, and dine without the clock telling you it's time to stop.
Activities include sunset snowshoe treks, sunrise tours of the Eye of the Wind, zip-line treks, a junior pond hockey tournament, a late-night snowboard jam, midnight ice skating and ski-in movies on a giant outdoor screen.
And even if your sea-level dance card is full, make sure to look up the mountain at 10 p.m., when you'll see dozens of torchbearers descending the main run in a glowing torchlight procession.
