As Vancouver city council waits anxiously to see whether reduced prices on condos at the Olympic Village will entice buyers, it is also looking at other options - from renting out suites, to unloading everything in a fire sale, to a bulk buyer. Council hopes to recover at least the money it loaned to the private developer for construction, even if it doesn't recover the $30-million land cost.
