Candidates for Vancouver city council and mayor have spoken on the campaign trail about a variety of subjects, from transit to homelessness to the expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline in nearby Burnaby. Using platforms and reported remarks from the four leading parties, we have created the table below to outline candidates' promises, whether vague or specific.
In addition to COPE, the Green Party, the Non-Partisan Association and Vision Vancouver, there are a number of independent candidates, and others running for smaller parties: the Cedar Party, One City Vancouver and Vancouver 1st.
