Saskatchewan RCMP say more than 200 vehicles are backed up behind a crash on an icy highway connecting Regina and Saskatoon.

Mounties say a semi with two trailers is on its side and blocking the southbound lanes of Highway 11 near Girvin.

That's about halfway between Regina and Saskatoon.

There are no reports of any injuries.

Police say they can't divert traffic because of the road conditions and traffic will be delayed for at least the next three to four hours.

The Ministry of Highways has closed the highway between Regina and Davidson, which is slightly northwest of the crash site, because the road is ice covered and visibility is reduced.
