Harvard Kennedy School was site of first meeting

The Harvard Kennedy School has landed on the outskirts of the David Petraeus scandal. It was, apparently, where Paula Broadwell, a master's student in public administration at the time, first met the general with whom she eventually had an affair – although none of the people contacted for this article had any recollections of her time as a student.

Ethics review for Broadwell's PhD

At the best of times, it is difficult enough to earn a PhD, but the ethical review board at King's College London, where Ms. Broadwell is now enrolled as a doctoral candidate, says it may revisit the approval it granted to her project on military leadership, which focused primarily on Petraeus.

Princeton option off the table?

Before news of the relationship hit the headlines, Mr. Petraeus's name had been mentioned as a potential candidate for the presidency of Princeton University, from where he earned his doctorate in international relations. His response in October? "I am living the dream here at CIA."
