Mailboxes across the country will be full again starting on Tuesday, after the government's bill to send Canada Post employees back to work received royal assent late Sunday.

Here's what Canada Post says about the flow of mail:

-Plant workers will be on the job as of Monday afternoon to sort letters.

-Canada Post's red mailboxes will be unsealed starting Monday.

-Residential and business customers will receive mail on Tuesday.

-Mail pick up from urban commercial customers will resume on Tuesday.

-Post offices that were closed during the labour dispute will reopen on Tuesday.

-Canada Post warns that there will be delays in clearing the backlog of mail. Workers will prioritize letters and parcels already in the system before processing new mail.

"[I]t will take some time to stabilize our operations and to return to our normal delivery standards," the Crown corporation said in a message to customers.
