Richard Oland was a member of the family that owns Moosehead Breweries Ltd., but left the company in 1981.
A New Brunswick provincial court judge has ruled that more information from search warrants in the Richard Oland homicide investigation will be released next week.
In a written decision, Judge R. Leslie Jackson says police have not demonstrated that the release of the information would jeopardize the integrity of their investigation.
Judge Jackson said he will allow the public release of the names of people in the documents who are not suspects or the subject of the search warrants.
But he won't allow the release of "hallmark" evidence that police say only the killer or killers would know.
Judge Jackson said the information will be released next Friday.
The body of the prominent 69-year-old businessman was found in his Saint John office on July 7, 2011.
In August, Judge Jackson allowed the release of seven heavily redacted search warrants along with related documents.
Those documents show police believe Mr. Oland was murdered.
