Police are searching the Ottawa home of Colonel Russell Williams, the former commander of Canadian Forces Base Trenton who is facing two murder charges.
Investigators have taped off the property and papered over windows in the semi-detached house in Ottawa's tony Westboro neighbourhood.
Col. Williams, 46, of Tweed, Ont., was arrested Sunday in Ottawa.
He's been charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of two women - Corporal Marie-France Comeau and Jessica Lloyd - and with the sexual assaults of two others.
Col. Williams' wife is the associate executive director of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and was living in the home.
The couple also has a cottage in Tweed, near the base.
