Small plane crashes into lake west of Ottawa

Ontario Provincial Police say a small plane has crashed into a lake near Calabogie, about two hours west of Ottawa.

The plane reportedly went down just before 12:30 p.m. Monday.

ORNGE officials say there is an air ambulance en route to the scene.

Provincial police report the plane has "blown apart."

There's no word yet on injuries.
