Gerrard promises millions to boost Manitoba childcare

There are 188 children on the waiting list.

Mr. Gerrard said mothers have to put their children on waiting lists before they're born to try to secure a space.

He says much of the money would target children under two whose parents have a particularly tough time finding child care.
