Another weekend in September, another series of pre-writ Liberal TV ads.
Revealed to the world in the same manner as the
first set, via Sunday morning
Facebook update, they keep up the positive tone but get a little more granular in their messaging.
The English ad - filmed again, as Andrew Coyne
puts it, in Narnia - focuses on job loss, with the Liberal Leader saying "this isn't just a recession, it's a restructuring of the economy" and pledging to "create the jobs of tomorrow today."
And having gone hard on Stephen Harper in his first French ad, Mr. Ignatieff goes global this time and talks broadly about the need for better government.
It's essentially a translation of his "think big" English spot of a week ago.
