Elizabeth May is in Toronto to unveil the Green Party election platform.
Stephen Harper begins his day in the Greater Toronto Area riding of Vaughan, where the Conservatives are trying to hold a seat they only won from the Liberals in a by-election 18 weeks ago.
Later the Conservative Leader heads to Hamilton for a rally with candidates from the Hamilton-area and other nearby ridings. The Tories hold two of the Hamilton-area seats and the NDP three.
Michael Ignatieff, the Liberal leader, is in Laval, Que., Thursday morning for a town hall meeting with seniors. No doubt he will be pushing some key planks in his platform - his suggested reforms to the Guaranteed Income Supplement and his $1-billion homecare plan.
Thursday night he is in Hamilton - the first time he has been in the city since the campaign began - for another town hall meeting.
NDP Leader Jack Layton pays his second visit of the campaign to Surrey, B.C., where the party hopes to bump off incumbent Conservative Dona Cadman. Mr. Layton will make an announcement and meet with community leaders at the Surrey Youth Resource Centre.
In the afternoon, the NDP campaign plane is off to Vancouver Island. The first stop is in Courtenay, where Mr. Layton will meet with two-term city councillor Ronna-Rae Leonard, who is his candidate in the riding of Vancouver Island North.
Then he will head to the riding of Nanaimo-Alberni to support candidate Zeni Maartman.
And in the early evening, the NDP Leader will attend a rally at a high school in Esquimalt where the departure of long-time Liberal incumbent Keith Martin has created a potential opportunity for the New Democrats.
Bloc Québécois Leader Gilles Duceppe is spending Thursday morning on Quebec's north shore, where he will meet with a group seeking improved employment insurance benefits. He is then going back to Montreal for the taping of Tout Le Monde En Parle, a popular talk show that will be broadcast on Sunday night.
