In the good books

It's a library; it's a hangout; it's a neighbourhood symbol of pride. The books are free for the taking, the structures are adorable and they offer passersby "a little peek into the finer side of humanity."

Follow the Russian leader

Vladimir Putin has posed with a polar bear, a tiger cub and rode a horse bare-chested. Now the Russian Leader has gone to the birds, piloting a motorized hang glider to lead a flock of young Siberian white cranes in flight. All while wearing a costume meant to imitate an adult crane. Of course, it makes for a great photo.
