An arsonist with a penchant for torching cars may be on the loose in Toronto.

A suspicious overnight fire damaged several vehicles at an auto-body shop in North York on Tangiers Road.

The fire was quickly doused, and no one was injured. Investigators are still trying to confirm whether it was set deliberately.

The body shop is located about five kilometres from the area where an arsonist struck just 24 hours earlier setting four cars ablaze.

Some of those vehicles had been parked in driveways, but again, no one was hurt.

Police are urging residents to be on the lookout for anyone acting suspiciously, and to call them immediately if they see anything.
