Durham police seize AK-47, revolver from Markham home

Guns and gangs officers from Durham Region say they seized an AK-47 rifle and a .357 revolver during a raid in Markham, Ont.

Officers say the assault rifle had an over-capacity magazine and the .357 revolver was loaded.

Police say the Markham resident was arrested at a home in Whitby and three other people were arrested in Oshawa.

Brandon Hill, 22, of Markham is facing multiple weapons and drug-related charges.

Oshawa residents Robin Kitchen, 39, and Katherine Kitchen, 41, face drug charges.

Daniel MacIntosh, 33, is charged with possession of marijuana.
