Toronto police say four more victims have come forward after they issued a public warning about a string of sex attacks against women in a downtown neighbourhood.

Police say the four additional incidents happened during the last three weeks, with the most recent on Tuesday.

In all four cases, police say the women, who range in age from 19 to 27, report being attacked from behind and sexually assaulted as they walked down the street at night.

On Wednesday, police issued a public warning, saying they were investigating several reports of sexual assaults against women in the Annex and Kensington Market neighbourhoods.

Investigators have said it appears the same suspect could be responsible for the attacks and expressed concern that the assaults could continue and grow more violent.
