Toronto police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the city's east end Thursday night.

The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was found at about 10:30 p.m. (in the Lawrence-Brimley area).

Paramedics say the victim was without vital signs when they arrived and was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to hospital where he later died.

There is no immediate word on a suspect or suspects and no name has been released.
