Toronto police are investigating reports of a male intruder in some women's washrooms at York University.

Police say two women went into a washroom at Curtis Lecture Halls around 6 p.m. Tuesday and saw a man in a stall beside them.

They then saw the man reach under the stall holding a cellphone in his hand. Police say both women left the washroom and the man fled the scene.

A third woman who went into another washroom in the building later the same night saw a man looking over the stall — and the man then fled.
