Small pieces of concrete fell off the elevated Gardiner Expressway in downtown Toronto early today.

No one was injured and no vehicles were hit when the pieces fell onto Bathurst St., which has been shut down between Lake Shore Blvd., and Fort York Blvd.

On June 25, a man was driving to work when his Mercedes was struck by pieces of concrete that fell from the underside of the expressway.

The driver wasn't hurt.

Three chunks of concrete fell off the expressway in May and there were several previous reports of pieces falling onto the streets below.
