Passengers wait to board a GO train.

GO Transit says several commuter train trips on the Barrie line have been cancelled after a person was struck by a train south of a GO station north of Toronto.

GO says service on the line has been suspended due to a suspected trespasser fatality in Maple, Ont.

Passengers originating at Union Station can use the Richmond Hill line to Langstaff where service will be available.

Passengers can also use Toronto Transit to the Finch bus terminal where they can board York Region Transit buses to get to their destination.

GO's 16:10 train from Union is stopped north of Rutherford, the 16:40 train terminated at York University, and the 17:05 was cancelled.
