Police search for three missing Brampton teens

Police Regional Police are searching for three Brampton teens who have been missing since Friday.

The trio – 14-year-old Rose Murphy, 15-year-old Kilee Prias and 14-year-old Shane Moss – did not arrive at school Friday morning and police believe they were travelling together.

Kilee was supposed to take the bus to her school, Turner Fenton Secondary, on Friday morning but based on a story shared by one of Kilee's friends, her father, Robert Prias, believes she got into a car with a large group of teens – including Rose and Shane – and went somewhere else instead.

"They were in somebody else's car and [their friend] said he didn't know who the driver of the car was," said Mr. Prias. He understands there were eight or more teens in the vehicle and that Kilee, Shane and Rose were dropped off in Hamilton that morning. Kilee did not have her cell phone on her, so Mr. Prias said he has been unable to reach her.

He said one of the last times he saw his daughter was a week before school started when she came over to his house for dinner (Kilee lives with her mother). He said his daughter was her usual quiet but kind self and he gave her money to do back-to-school shopping at an outlet mall in Milton. Nothing that came up in that dinner gave him an inkling that anything was wrong.

"It's not normal for her to do something like this," he said. "And it's been five days."

He said he's concerned that his daughters friends might know information about where she is but are not sharing it with police. He believes some of the teens' friends have been in touch with them through text message and that they know exactly where Kilee, Rose and Shane were taken to on Friday morning.

"It's too fishy the whole story these kids are saying," Mr. Prias said.

Peel Regional Police say as far as they know, the teens haven't spoken to their parents or friends since they were last seen.

"There was something they planned to do together but we didn't know what their destination was or what their plan was," said Constable George Tudos.
