Toronto police are seeking information on woman who calls herself “Linda” (pictured), who claims to know nothing about herself.

Toronto police have renewed their appeal for information about a mysterious woman who walked into a downtown shelter last month claiming she knew nothing about herself, and have released a fresh photograph of her.

The woman, who calls herself "Linda" walked into the shelter Sept. 5. She has since been relocated at another shelter in the city's east end.

Police can find no records about the woman anywhere and it remains unclear whether she is from Toronto. The assumption is that she is suffering from total amnesia.

She is white, five-foot-seven, 55 to 60 years old, weighing 150 pounds, with straight blond hair and blue eyes.

Tips have been posted on the Toronto Police Service's Facebook page, but to date none have proved solid.

The appeal for information has now been expanded Canada−wide and a new photograph of "Linda" has been released.

Anyone able to identify her should contact police and make reference to TPS occurrence #4478159.
