Roofer, 25, dies after fall in Forest Hill

A 25-year-old man is dead after falling from the roof of a Forest Hill home.

Police were called to 9 Ormsby Cres., near Spadina and Eglinton Ave., at 9:20 a.m. Thursday.

Constable Victor Kwong said the man is believed to have fallen six metres while installing a new roof on the three-storey home. The man was unresponsive when emergency crews arrived at the scene, and was pronounced dead shortly after.

The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
